The "Creating Belonging Workshop" is an initiative that is tailored for educators striving to foster a learning atmosphere where each student is recognized and where every child feels valued and accepted. The "Creating Belonging Workshop" event is specifically designed for educators who are committed to nurturing an inclusive classroom atmosphere.


Hosted by the renowned Katy Mthethwa, this workshop is not just another seminar; it's a transformative experience that promises to equip teachers with the knowledge and tools necessary to make a real and tangible difference in their classrooms. Over the course of 3-4 hours, participants will delve into the nuances of inclusion and belonging within the educational setting.

The workshop will cover several critical areas:

Set in the conducive learning environment of Crawford North Coast Preparatory School, the workshop will take place on Monday, 27 May 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
